Spotlight Review: Casa Sedona Inn in Sedona, Arizona

Sitting area in lobby
Honor bar and all-day snack area

Only a couple of blocks away from a main street, Casa Sedona Inn is a quiet oasis in Sedona. This boutique hotel has adobe style architecture (by Mani Subra, a protégé of Frank Lloyd Wright), with views of the mountains at every angel. It is very intimate and I didn’t feel crowded at all. My visit was over the weekend. From the owner to the employees, everyone was friendly and available to make your stay perfect. After a long day of Sedona’s activities, I enjoyed their shaded garden areas and the calming sounds of one of their soothing fountains. It was great to relax in their outdoor jacuzzi with a refreshing drink. For the hotel guest, there is an honor bar that is available. For those who like to bring their own beverage, the hotel has a chilling station for bottled beverages.

Casa Sedona Inn has an on-site restaurant that serves fresh breakfast from 7:00-10:00 am. The flavorful breakfast options are made from local and organic ingredients. I ordered the Fresh and Simple Omelet (a version of a vegetable omelet) with their potato medley. Also, you have non-alcoholic and alcoholic drink options. You have a choice to eat by a fireplace view in the main dining room or outside on their Jupiter Garden Patio. My preference was enjoying the outdoor air, viewing the mountaintops, and hearing the birds chirping in the background. It was a good way to start the day. Customer service at the restaurant made the experience worth coming back for.

Throughout the hotel, there were art for purchase and display only. On my visit, I was able to view a couple of the clean guest rooms on property. The well-appointed rooms have its own distinctive size and character. It depends on your personality and room location that best fits your lodging goal. Some of the room amenities are robes, gas fireplace, double spa tub, refrigerators, and a balcony/terrace/patio for relaxing outside of your room. They provided premium bathroom toiletries. The unique offerings were the special make-up remover towel, shoe towel (Sedona has red dirt), and a toilet odor spray for those un-fresh moments. I choose the Moondance room and I was not in a rush to leave. The bed was comfortable; the relaxing sound of the fountain from the shared balcony, and the view was great. It is located in the front of the property near the parking area but the vehicle noise wasn’t a bother.

A room selection

Casa Sedona Inn is prefect for those relaxing and/or romantic getaways. I am looking forward to staying at the property whenever I am in Sedona again. For more information, go to website
